What are the origins of demons? How many different names does Lucifer have? Where is the gate to hell located? How did the animals in the Garden of Eden lost the ability to speak? What angel holds Lucifer’s chains? Why did God really send the flood of Noah? Where did Lilith go when she left Adam in the Garden? Why does St. Joseph have a staff with a Lily on it? What are the names of the three wise men who came to Christ’s nativity?
All of these stories are contained in books that are not in Jewish & Protestant Bibles. Many are not in Roman Catholic Bibles, either.
Join Archbishop Kristina Rake M.A.T.S. on an 8-week excursion into the strange books that are not in most bibles. Students will discover:
Who wrote the books in the Bibles used by different churches and who decided what was included and what wasn’t;
Lists of hundreds of books, letters, fragments, and extra-biblical writings and how to read them for free;
How these books influenced Christian theology, art, and liturgy over time;
Mysterious communities and their contributions to apocryphal writings, including the Gnostics and the Essenes, as well as Roman, Egyptian, and Greek mystery cults;
How these extrabiblical writings, along with books on Jewish mysticism and occult & Islamic magic, were reintroduced to European society, creating an occult explosion;
How to read, interpret, and learn more about the books that interest them.
Class runs on Saturday mornings from 8am CST through 9:30am CST live from August 9th through September 27th.
If you can’t attend live, you can watch the recordings and attend weekly special Q & A with Bishop Rake. You’ll receive a bibliography with books to continue studies as well as copies of the texts read in class.
ALL FUNDS GO TO OUR MINISTRIES. THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT. Bishop Rake volunteers her time for these special events.
Go beyond the sensationalism and misinformation to the real, and bizarre, stories of these ancient texts.

A great deal of information regarding the books not in the bible is incorrect. It takes decades to learn enough about scripture, near east studies, archeology, linguistics, and history to understand both the processes involved in creating these texts and their meaning in the context of the cultures that created them. Archbishop Rake has those decades of formal training and research.
